Hunter Glaske (Lead Vocals / Guitar) * Mason Hightower (Guitar) * John Allen Davidson (Bass) * Adam Rea (Drums)
The Hunter Rea Band got their start in Belton, Texas where lead singer Hunter Glaske and drummer Adam Rea began writing and playing local shows throughout college. They spent much of their time developing their writing style while pulling from their musical influences, including Randy Rogers, Wade Bowen, and Stoney Larue. One thing they were certain — they wanted a different sound; infusing Americana Roots and a lot of soul.
The unique sound they have developed is already setting them apart in the Texas Music scene. In 2014 they recorded their first single “Sweet Virginia” and followed that up with the release of their first EP, “Worrying Kind”. In the last year alone, The Hunter Rea Band has seen immense growth musically, giving them the opportunity to compete in the final round of 95.9 The Ranch’s Ranch Factor competition as well as an invite to the Larry Joe Taylor Fest Singer/Songwriter competition in Stephenville. After turning their garage into a recording studio, they are ready for their turn in the Texas Music scene.
With the recording of their first full length album underway, 2017 is shaping up to be a big year for these young musicians as they prepare to stretch their roots and put their unique style of music in front of more fans. Be on the lookout for a full length album, and support them in their journey of bringing a new style to Texas Music.
